Phosphorus priming influence on different quality of wheat cv. “Pardela” and “Gralha Azul” seeds

The seed priming allows the beginning of metabolic processes necessary for germination. Phosphorus is a macronutrient growth and development seedlings, since it participates in structural components cell like nucleic acid molecules. objective was to evaluate effect with phosphorus (P) on physiological quality wheat seeds different levels vigor. For experiment, three lots Pardela cultivar, vigor i.e. high, medium low were used. water potential evaluated: 0 (control), 0.10 %, 0.20 0.30 0.40 % 0.50 P. first germination count, percentage germination, abnormal root shoot length, dry mass seedlings determined. water, data submitted analysis variance means compared by Tukey test. In study concentrations phosphorus, regression carried out, following completely randomized design, factorial scheme 3x6. Priming had significantly influenced all treatments, independently levels, increases normal obtained count also lots, primed larger length lots. Regarding significant differences observed only which decreased increase concentration aerial part, presented an inverse behavior, increasing highest phosphorus.
